Natural Falls

It isn't just the beaches in the state of Pernambuco that are able to relieve the heat of the summer and provide good entertainment. Here at Engenho Verde you can enjoy natural beauty that will lead to more adventurous eco-tourism.

Walking on one of the many hiking trails will reward you with a beutiful backdrop of natural waterfalls surrounded by tropical trees and wildlife.

You will be visiting fairly untouched natural pools and waterfalls, so please remember to be respectful of the natural heritage by taking out everything that you bring with you. We want to preserve the pure beauty of the falls.

We will take our guests to see the many waterfalls that are scattered about in the lush forest. Many of these waterfalls are perfect for rappelling (decending the waterfalls with ropes), because of the way the rock has been carved out by the water over the years.
